Hindi Serial – Bidaai – Sadhana facing a lot of questions about the divorce, and Vasu arranging for marriage with Mallika

One wonders about these serials, how they show people stretching to breaking point, and how good is almost never rewarded, and if it is rewarded, then only for a short while, and then everything becomes bad again. Here, Sadhana is the perfect daughter, bahu (too perfect, since she keeps on taking everything – in the Gita, it says that you should always speak up for the truth, and she keeps on hiding it one way or the other).
So, here Sadhana had signed the divorce papers since she needed the money from Vasu, and Vasu wanted to see the end of the Sadhana – Alekh relationship so that she could get Alekh married to Mallika (did she never think that Mallika is a much more strong willed girl, and would not be so easily pushed like Vasu keeps on pushing Sadhana). Here Sadhana is not willing to reveal where she got the money from, and even told Alekh that she had signed the divorce papers since they did not have much of a relationship; as a result, Alekh is torn between moving away and his love for Sadhana. Only Ranveer is the one who continues to believe in this relationship and is shocked when Vasu tries to get Alekh and Mallika to get engaged fast, it is only Alekh who refuses to get engaged immediately, although Vasu is confident that she will get him engaged to Mallika within 2 days.
Ranveer has a strong conversation with Alekh where he tries to get Alekh to remember all that Sadhana did for him, including getting him out of his state and making him the strong confident person he is now, but Alekh is still shocked by the fact that Sadhana confirmed to him that she wants to divorce him.
In the meantime, Ragini comes to the house and declares that she is shocked by Sadhana’s decision to divorce Alekh, something that the others in the house don’t know; they are equally shocked. They all apply pressure to Sadhana, but she refuses to reveal the reason for why she took this decision, and though her Mamaji is clearly disappointed, he does not try to force her. Vinu also tries, but is unable to get her to reveal the reasons why he did so.
Hindi Serial – Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chaaon Mein – The truth is out about Nandini and her being the entire attempt

Palkon Ki Chaaon mein has had a somewhat change in the way that Suman is being treated. Earlier, she was treated with hatred and derision, because she was a widow, and was blamed in some way for the death of her husband, Karan in an accident on their honeymoon. She faced a lot of problems, given that she was also grieving for Karan, but continued to have the strong support of the elder son of the family, Karthik (whose mother had initially selected Suman for Karthik). However, now Nandini was slated to marry Karthik, and this was agreed to by everyone in the house; although Karthik continued to have a soft corner for Suman.
However, thing started getting problematic for Suman when she moved away and started living with her uncle (chacha) and Prabhu Dayal, who was a widower and had 2 sons. He soon told Suman that he liked her and wanted her to become his wife, something she was not comfortable with. At the same time, Nandini was also not comfortable with the idea of Karthick and Suman, she found Suman, and convinced her to fake a marriage with Prabhu Dayal so that Nandini’s marriage with Karthik would become easier.
However, with this fake marriage, Prabhu Dayal told Suman that she cannot leave now, and was holding her. Karthik rescued her then, and then when PD told everybody that Nandini was behind it, no one believed it. It is only now that Karthik learns that Nandini was constantly on the phone with PD when Suman was held, and accuses her of being behind everything, something she accepts. Now what ?
Rahul Mahajan begins his swayamvar with a bang!

Swayamvar Season 2-Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega has finally begun. Fifteen beautiful and very hopeful girls will be vying to win Rahul Mahajan’s affection and admiration. Like the previous season (Rakhi’s Swayamvar), the first episode was a grand event where the aspirants were introduced to their prince charming. Set in one of the beautiful palaces in Udaipur Fatehgarh Palace, the contestants alighted from expensive vintage cars to be greeted by Rahul, bouquet in hand. Most of the girls also carried small gifts in order to make a good first impression.
The fifteen hopeful girls came from all over India. The average age of the girls will be around twenty five years and most of them were visibly nervous as they were out to woo a man (and not the other way round) and that too on national television. It takes guts for a woman to pursue a man rather than the reverse. Most of the girls were either students or aspiring models and there even was a lecturer of a college. Most girls came bearing presents so as to make a mark in Rahul’s heart at the very first opportunity. Twinkle Mukherjee from Kolkata gifted Rahul an idol of Goddess Durga, “jor” and cheli– that marks the ‘gathbandhan’ (wedding knot) between a bride and groom in Bengali weddings. Charmy from Ahmedabad showered her affection and wished Rahul good luck by gifting him a showpiece of ‘Farishtey’(angel). Nikunj Malik, an accessories designer from Faridabad made Rahul’s day truly special by gifting him a wallet especially designed by her with her picture in it. Rashmi from Lucknow gifted him a set of a Lucknawi Kurta-Pajama.
Ammaji – Back from Hell – Na Aana Is Des Laado

For the first time in the history of television history, the return of the antagonist is being highly anticipated. Ammaji, tormentor of innumerable hapless souls, including her own immediate family, has been resurrected and is back to make life hell for all those who conspired behind her back. Dharam Veer, chief conspirator and the man behind all the devious plotting got to enjoy the spotlight only for this teeny weeny bit before the harsh reality of life had him bamboozled. His poor wife fell on her knees and begged him to spare his own flesh and daughter, Jhoomar, from the evil clutches of DM Vohra, but he refused her ardent pleas. He in fact went one step further, severing all ties with his legally wedded wife and reduced her to the status of a servant girl. He also took on as consort, his mistress, a person whose black designs equal his own.
He disowns his own son since the latter had dared to raise his voice against the injustice of his father’s actions. Pride truly comes before a fall and Dharam Veer proved this saying right by accepting his role in the conspiracy to finish off Amma-ji. Deluded with his own sense of invincibility he freely admitted to the crime and then sat upon the very throne that used to belong to Ammaji pushing aside her beetle leaf container. As the priests move in to perform the sacred rites of passage to confer upon him the title of “King”, justice prevails and the rightful owner of the title returns, amidst much shock and awe.
