Hindi Serial – Na Aana Is Des Ladoo – Ammaji trying other tactics to put a lot of load on Sia after Raghav accepted her
On March 04, 2010 in Colors, Drama, Family, Hindi Serial, Na Aana Iss Desh Ladoo, Ruthless, Saas-Bahu, Society, TV
It was a very surprising scene, and not what a lot of fans of Sia would have thought. After all, she had sworn to take revenge against everybody who had mis-treated her and her father, and for that, she had taken up position in Ammaji’s house as a servant. And for that, Ammaji, who never trusted her, first made sure that she knew her position very clearly in the house, and treated her exactly like a servant, and not like a daughter-in-law; to the extent that when the DM came to their house for taking one of the ladies for the night, Ammaji put Sia also on display.
And yet, the makers of the serial have shown some stuff that is certainly not part of revenge. Even though Ammaji showed no signs of changing any of her behavior, and remained as evil as ever, Sia saved her life when she was shot by a bullet. And for that, Ammaji had not the slightest amount of gratitude. In fact, Ammaji was planning to get a new daughter-in-law for Raghav, something that he was going through. But it seemed like the ploy that Sia had was to get Raghav won over and respect her as a wife, and he finally accepted her (hardly a mark of revenge, given that Raghav was complicit in many of Ammaji’s crimes). It was only when Raghav has accepted her that her status has changed in the household; but even then, Ammaji has not left any chance to still try and get Sia away from Raghav. She managed to persuade Sia not to have a physical relationship with Raghav for 3 months since this has been recommended by the family priest, and then is subjecting Sia to a lot of pressure in the kitchen, making her cook the food for the entire family.
Na Ana Is Des Mere Laado-Inspired writing helps to take show to No.1 slot!

The team behind the show “Na Ana Is Des Mere Laado” have much to rejoice about. The high voltage drama of the past couple of weeks in which Ammaji was killed off and then brought back in time to nab her killers has helped the show to garner maximum TRPs. It has now become the Number One show across all General Entertainment Channels (Hindi). The entire build up to Ammaji’s (fake) death, the revealing of her true enemies and then her return to prominence and life, very much like the proverbial phoenix, has helped to entertain millions of viewers across the country. Such is the appeal of this show that even men (who generally stay off serials and soaps or so goes the myth) try to not miss an episode.
The escalating pitch of the drama found its culmination point when Dharam Veer and DM Vora were punished by Ammaji, even though the latter did manage to escape. Kudos to the writing team of the serial for they have immediately changed the tone of the show by introducing a love track between Raghav and Sia. Just as viewers were preparing themselves for the full fledged development of this relationship, with some even hoping for Ammaji’s consent to it, the makers decided to add in another twist. They brought in Raghav’s ex girlfriend, Sonali! Even before the lovebirds could have declared their true feelings for each other, the entry of this other woman has added more drama to the show. To top it all, Sonali has even impressed Ammaji who sees in her a reflection of her own younger self.
Na aana is des laado – More troubles for Sia and Raghav ?
On February 02, 2010 in Channels, Colors, Hindi Serial, Na Aana Iss Desh Ladoo, Poor, Power
It seems that Sia and Raghav have to traverse a long distance before their love story can hope to see a logical end. Ammaji’s close brush with death that had been closely averted due to Sia’s timely intervention had helped to open a channel of communication between these two individuals. The love that had lain dormant in Sia’s heart and that Raghav had refused to acknowledge found an outlet courtesy the tragic incident. Raghav grateful to Sia for saving his mother’s life has woken up to his responsibilities as a husband; something that he ignored all these months. He not only went to fetch Sia from the hospital, he started to actually care about her well being.
Just as the viewers were expecting things to turn for the better for the pair of them, Raghav’s past has caught up with him. Sonali, Raghav’s girl friend from London has followed him all the way to Veerpur. Unaware that her boyfriend is now a married man, her sole purpose for coming is to marry Raghav. It seems that they had broken up in London but she realised the depth of her feelings for him after this incident. She is now determined to win him back and settle down with him. Her appearance has put on the brakes for the developing of love and understanding between the lead pair.
Ammaji – Audacity is thy name!
On January 29, 2010 in Colors, Drama, Family, Hindi Serial, Na Aana Iss Desh Ladoo, Power
Ammaji’s audacity knows no bounds. First she staged the drama of her own death, thereby convincing her enemies to come out in the open and declare themselves. Having drawn out Dharam Veer Singh and District Magistrate Vohra, she flogged her own brother-in-law to an almost-dead state. Not being satisfied with this, she then tied the man to the end of her jeep and dragged him all over the village and threw him to the wild animals. Forbidding him to ever enter the village she punishes not only him but his entire family; as he is husband to one and father to two.
Instrumental in saving her life has been Sia, married to her youngest son Raghav but who she has reduced to the position of a servant girl in the house.Sia proved her mettle as a fine woman when she threw herself in the line of the bullet that was meant to kill Ammaji. Honoring a human life more than all the resentment (justifiably so) that she has against Ammaji and her cruel ways, she arrives just in time to warn Ammaji of the threat to her life. Had it not been for her timely intervention Ammaji would have surely fallen prey to Dharam Veer and DM Vohra’s schemes.
