Hindi Serial – Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai – Finally Akshara and Naitik make up

The change in the serial was very abrupt, since for many viewers, the concept of Naitik was a person acutely aware of his status and position; one who even though loves his wife, was able to see mistakes in her even more easily. At a time when the entire family was angry with Akshara, she needed support from Naitik the most, and it was then that he deserted her. He even told her that she was causing too much problems and tension in the house, and that she could leave if she wanted, and so Akshara did (and this was the event that shocked everybody into understanding that things were out of control). His own family had started realizing that he was getting too much into his ego, and too arrogant.
And then came the episode of Holi, where he suddenly made his way to Akshara’s house, supposedly drunk on Bhang, and then made Akshara also high on Bhangra. And then they had a frank discussion where she told him about everything that he had done that had shocked her, especially the fact that he had not supported her. Based on this entire discussion, Naitik then dragged her downstairs, where everybody assumed that things between them were still not normal. And it was then that Naitik gave the biggest surprise, telling everyone that he agreed that he was the one who was wrong, and apologizing to Akshara in front of everyone. This made Akshara feel much better, now that she realized that the love from Naitik was strong enough, and this also shocked both set of families. However, Naitik had still not helped his sister, and the question is whether he can make up with Mohit and get the happinness to his sister, Nandini by uniting her with Mohit ?
The latest events in Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hain – Akshara only back for a visit, but Naitik is not bending

The serious nature of the misunderstanding between Akshara and Naitik grows even more in the serial. From a time when they were so much in love, Naitik is not able to get over the behavior of Akshara, and has also started hating his close friend Mohit. As a result, Akshara had to leave her house when Naitik told her that it would be better if she left back to her parents house, and she finally did so after a lot of crying.
It became much worse when her parents finally got to know that Akshara had left her in-laws after this dispute, and they were not sure what to do – and her father took a fairly sensible decision that she should not go back unless both Naitik and Akshara were willing; something that Daddaji was not initially comfortable with initially.
However, things are never so clear, and the amount of misunderstanding does not really get clear. When Naitik comes to the house, Shaurya does not treat him with a lot of respect (and given how Naitik had behaved in the past, that seems something perfectly clear); so when Akshara comes back to her inlaws house for one day, naitik does not stop her when she tries to go back (with the expectation that Naitik will try to stop her). Now it the elders of the house who are meeting in order to try and resolve things.
Naitik and Akshara – Trouble in paradise to be resolved soon?

Askhara and Naitik are perhaps one of the most loved on screen pairs of Hindi serials nowadays. Viewers have been glued to their unique love story which blossomed after their marriage was fixed by the respective families. In fact the distinctiveness of the story lay in the fact that it was attempting to capture a very basic reality of Indian marriages and families- the way love blossoms between two completely unknown individuals once they tie the knot. Akshara and Naitik came to symbolise those millions of young people across India who first marry and then fall in love and not the other way round.
After a very elaborate marriage the couple settled down to domestic bliss. There were hiccups along the way but these two very much in love individuals seemed determined to not let anything come in the way of their own private heaven. Even Naitik’s mother who had concerns giving up space in her son’s life to this new person was handled very nicely by the young couple. However these two lovebirds are now facing the toughest challenge to their relationship. Misunderstood by her marital family who thought that she had deliberately mislead her sister-in-law (Nandini), Akshara tries to plead her case before every family member but without much success. She had expected Naitik to support and stand by her. But his inability to do so breaks her heart. She leaves for her father’s place and Naitik does not stop her.
Akshara in serious trouble in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kahlata Hain”

The household in which Akshara has got married, the household of her husband Naitik, is pretty conservative. The idea is to respect elders, treat their word as a command, and overall not go in for new fashioned stuff (which includes getting married in a love marriage). And this is where Akshara finds herself in serious trouble.
Naitik’s sister, Nandini is handicapped, and has been having trouble finding a good match. Unknowingly to her, she was falling in love with a good friend of the family, Mohit (a childhood friend of Naitik). She finally admits it to Akshara, and soon after when Mohit gets into a small accident, Mohit also finds out about this. However, Nandini thinks that Mohit has rejected her, and agrees to go through a normal arranged relations; however, things change when Mohit confirms her love and they are both able to confess their feelings for each other.
However, not everything is so positive elsewhere. Akshara knows about all this, and yet like so many other serials, is unable to tell Naitik about this, and then Naitik finds out about this when he sees all 3 of them together. When some people come to see Nandini and are ready to move ahead, Naitik gets the relation stopped, and forces Akshara to reveal the truth. The net result is that after this, everybody is very angry with both Nandini and Akshara, and do not talk to them. Naitik ignores Akshara and she is horrified by his reaction, crying most of the time.
